Scope: This is a reading of Kenya Revenue Authority’s public Job Application Guidelines, checked on 29 October 2026. It is not an application walkthrough tested in an account or confirmation that a particular vacancy is open.
KRA’s page places registration, the Candidate Profile and applying to a posting in separate sections. This matters when recording progress: a saved profile is information about an applicant, whereas a job application concerns one identified opportunity.
Read the headings as separate tasks
The guidelines describe email-confirmed registration, a Candidate Profile inside the Applicant Cockpit and a later Employment Opportunities section. They include a distinct final submission step after review of the application. This article summarises that published structure; it does not verify how a logged-in screen currently behaves.
A useful record therefore keeps the relevant opportunity reference and actual confirmation separate from account setup. Someone who has only described their background should not record that as a submitted application to every posting.
Give each state its own evidence
| State | Evidence to keep in a research or application log |
|---|---|
| Registration | The actual confirmation received or state displayed |
| Profile completion | What information was provided and its source documents |
| Application to a named role | The original advert, reference and actual submission confirmation |
These are suggested organisational fields, not a claim that this publication can inspect or certify an account. If confirmation is missing, record the uncertainty rather than inventing success. The presence of an Apply control in an overview cannot provide the outcome of an individual attempt.
Do not import information from unrelated page sections
The KRA site also contains tax and other service navigation. Those links do not turn this recruitment guide into tax guidance, establish a job condition or prove that an applicant meets a requirement. For the same reason, a general recruitment heading is not a current role description.
The guidelines page repeats some instructions and contains differing support-address renderings. This article copies neither contact route and makes no guess about a malformed address. It also does not assess current charges, a payment request or an individual eligibility question.
A completed record still has limits
No credentials, identity records or referee information were handled in preparing this article. The recruitment destination was not used, and no application was created or sent.
The supported point is about document states: KRA’s public guidance treats profile preparation and application submission separately. An actual role’s requirements, deadline and result need their own evidence. Neither account completion nor this article promises an interview or employment.
